Shatter

During my masters I started painting from my installations to play with the forms I had created from intersecting triangles. I painted some 2m x 2m paintings directly on to the studio wall in order to free the forms from a physical frame. I have recently started to pick this body of work up again, making new models and painting from them. I'm particularly interested in the way the negative space holds up against the positive causing the background to come forward while some of the painted areas recede.
